Bristol CT – ESPN journalist Josina Anderson reported recently on Sportscenter that Michael Sam of the St. Louis Rams has adjusted his shower routine in order to avoid sharing the stalls with teammates who may feel uncomfortable in his presence. Well this outlandish and unnecessary report by the journalist has led to a retort by Michael Sam himself. Sam, usually being one to let the media comments roll off his shoulder, decided to respond to the ignorant journalist by saying “The reason they never see me in the showers is because I only take warm bubble baths with lavender oil”. When Rams headcoach Jeff Fisher heard the quote from sam, he admitted to doing the same thing after practices, saying “It’s not gay, it’s just really nice”. The Rams organization is set to have private bubble baths accompanied by ocean sounds ready for players upon request.
