TikTok is known for its short clips, but that could soon change.
According to TechCrunch, TikTok plans to offer users the ability to post clips up to 60 minutes long in an attempt to better rival Google’s YouTube.
The new feature is currently being trialled by a limited group of users in selected markets and it remains to be seen if there will be a wider rollout in the long run.
When TikTok was launched in September 2016, clips could not be longer than 15 seconds, which contributed greatly to the platform’s popularity.
