Xiaomi might be best known in Europe for its flagship phones, but many of the company’s more affordable offerings are also worth considering.
Prime examples of this in 2023 were the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro, two mid-range phones which offered an array of premium features.
With the new Xiaomi 14T series, it looks like the company is taking things up a notch, upgrading both the hardware and software experience. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro.
When will the Xiaomi 14T be released?
Xiaomi officially unveiled the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro on 26 September 2024 in Berlin, Germany. At this point, however, we don’t know when they will be released.
While both phones will be available in Europe, including the UK, they won’t be coming to the US, as Xiaomi doesn’t sell any of its hardware in North America.
As a reminder, here’s when previous versions were launched:
- Xiaomi 11T series – September 2021
- Xiaomi 12T series – October 2022
- Xiaomi 13T series – September 2023
How much will the Xiaomi 14T cost?
Xiaomi 14T starts at £549 for the 12GB/256GB model, while the Xiaomi 14T Pro costs £649 for the same RAM plus storage variant.
It’s not clear if more expensive configurations of either phone will be available.
For context, here are the launch prices of the previous models:
- Xiaomi 11T: £499/€499
- Xiaomi 11T Pro: £599/€649
- Xiaomi 12T: £499/€599
- Xiaomi 12T Pro: £699/€799.99
- Xiaomi 13T: £549/€549
- Xiaomi 13T Pro: £649/€649
As you can see, reductions in price are just as common as rises. However, this time, Xiaomi has decided to leave prices unchanged from last year’s models.
