This year’s fall was not only the season of witches, with Agatha All Along and the musical Wicked causing a stir online. It also seemed to be the season of clowns. Joker: Folie à Deux hit theatres in early October, and a week later another clown movie, Terrifier 3, arrived in cinemas.
The new film in the Terrifier series yet again follows the bloodthirsty Art the Clown on another murdering and torturing rampage, only this time, it’s festive! Screenings of the horror allegedly caused some viewers to walk out and even throw up – giving you a good idea of what to expect.
Art the Clown’s cruel deeds are best seen in the cinema, but if you want to rewatch Terrifier 3, here’s when the movie hit home media.

How to watch Terrifier 3 now
In the US, you can still watch the film in select theatres – you can find tickets, for example, on AMC Theatres and Fandango websites. In the UK, the film is no longer available on the big screen. However, it will return to British cinemas very soon.
UK-based fans can watch Terrifier 3 from Thursday, 12 December 2024. You can book your tickets on Vue or Odeon.
In the US, the slasher will return to more cinemas on 24 and 25 December 2024.
These additional screenings of Terrifier 3 will include a new introduction by the director, Damien Leone, and a special look behind the scenes.
When will Terrifier 3 be released on VOD?
In the US, the slasher is now available for rental or purchase on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and Vudu.
Terrifier 3 also hit digital in the UK – you can buy or rent the film on Prime Video UK and iTunes.
When will Terrifier 3 be released on DVD/Blu-ray?
In the UK, the physical copies of Terrifier 3 will arrive on Monday, 16 December 2024. They are available for pre-order on Amazon UK.
In the States, the film will be available on Tuesday, 17 December 2024. You can pre-order copies on Amazon Prime or Walmart.
When could Terrifier 3 be released on streaming services?
Given the “holiday” theme of the slasher, we initially thought it would be an excellent opportunity to launch the film on ScreamBox around Christmas, or on Amazon Prime Video.
However, as Terrifier 3 is coming back to cinemas, this may delay the streaming release to later than initially expected, which could mean it won’t drop on a service until 2025. We’ll update this article when we get more information.
