Halloween is long over, but it looks like many viewers are still craving spooky movies. Smile 2, the follow-up to Parker Finn’s unexpected 2022 hit, is still doing well in theatres, becoming one of the most discussed horrors of the year. The sequel tells the story of some new characters, although they’re stalked by the same dark entity as in the original Smile.

What’s curious is that Paramount released the film’s first seven minutes on the Smile 2 website. You can watch the video for free, although there’s a hook. To see the whole sequence, you’ll need to enable your camera and smile – if, at some point, you stop, the responsive technology will pause the clip.

In the US, you can buy Smile 2 tickets from AMC Theatres and Fandango. In the UK, you can secure your seats on Vue, Cineworld or Odeon websites.

The horror is now available on digital in the United States. You can watch it on Prime Video or iTunes.
In the US, Smile 2 hit VOD on 19 November 2024, but it remains unknown when the movie may appear on digital in the United Kingdom. Currently, fans can pre-order it on Amazon Prime Video UK.
When could Smile 2 be released on streaming services?
Smile 2 is already available on Paramount+ in the US. The basic subscription costs $7.99 per month or $59.99 per year.
The movie hit American streaming on Tuesday, 3 December 2024. For now, it’s unknown when horror will appear on the UK-based platforms.

When will Smile 2 be released on DVD/Blu-ray?
It’s hard to say when the physical copies of the film may appear, as there isn’t a set pattern for Paramount films.
A Quiet Place: Day One appeared on DVD and Blu-ray 42 days after releasing on streaming. Physical copies of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem came out 30 days after its premiere on streaming. However, physical copies of Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves came out just two weeks after the film’s debut on Paramount+.
