It’s been a whopping seven years since the last instalment of the Xenomorph franchise was released. Alien: Covenant certainly wasn’t the best part of the series, and it’s no wonder that Hollywood lost some faith in the universe. However, it hasn’t been abandoned for good. Alien: Romulus, directed by Fede Álvarez, is a fresh start for the franchise.
Cailee Spaeny, who you may remember from Priscilla and Civil War, plays the leading role in the film. Her character, Rain Carradine, along with the rest of the spaceship’s crew, must fight to the death against a mysterious predator.
