As audiences across the UK count down the days until The Traitors returns for season 3, an exciting plot twist has emerged that will allow fans to be more immersed than ever. Enter – The Traitors: Live Experience, created by the minds behind The Crystal Maze Live Experience.
Set to debut in London’s West End in Spring 2025, players can take a seat at the iconic round table to try and snuff out the Traitors… or lie through their teeth to try and steal the game for themselves. Missions will help the team build alliances and morale.
There will also be a live host overseeing the game, though it’s doubtful that Claudia Winkleman and her iconic turtlenecks will be making an appearance. However, she did give the following quote about the new event:
“I can’t wait for players to immerse themselves in their own drama, strategy and the deception. They’ll love the game and should definitely expect twists. Please can you add an evil cackle here?”
If your nerves are getting the better of you, then there will also be ‘a luxurious themed bar’ where you can order a drink, both in the game itself, or before/after the madness.
Tickets will go on sale early next year, hopefully coinciding with the return of the BBC One series. They will be priced from £29.50, though this price may be more, depending on how many tickets you buy and the time slot you go for. You can sign up for early access here – but you’ll have to beat me to it first.
If you can’t wait for the immersive experience to arrive, then you can also get a taste of The Traitors at home with the official board game and card game. I’ve played the latter, and it’s a fun little Werewolves-style activity to make your Traitors watch parties better than ever.
