However, unless you go for one of the best budget tablets, they can be expensive. Luckily, with Black Friday this month quickly followed by Cyber Monday at the start of December, there are loads of great deals out there.
Here are the top deals available at the time of writing in the UK and US. These are, of course, subject to change, so if you see something you like here, we’d encourage you to go for it.

The Honor Pad 9 only launched in February, and was a solid all-round slate for its £300 price tag. But with this discount, it’s even easier to recommend.

Find the best tablet for you
If you’re looking for deals on the best tablet on the market, there are a few things you may need to consider. First off, should you buy an iPad, Android tablet, Windows tablet or Fire tablet? And do you need one with 4G/5G connectivity, or will just Wi-Fi be fine?
Of course, the best phones on the market will often have premium prices too. Apple’s iPads and Samsung’s Galaxy Tabs are the obvious choices, but don’t rule out the likes of Microsoft Surface or Amazon Fire if you’re looking for something a bit different.
Lots of other smartphone makers also make their own Android tablets, including Xiaomi, OnePlus and Google.
However, it’s worth noting that some of the tablets from Chinese brands that are sold in Europe aren’t available in North America.
Get a great tablet deal
If you’re looking to buy a phone outright, rather than on contract, Amazon has some of the biggest bargains, but make sure you check the specs carefully – third-party sellers sometimes use Amazon to shift international stock, which may vary slightly from what you’d find in stores.
