Samsung’s Galaxy A series phones are extremely well and some models are among the best-selling handsets globally. For 2023, the Galaxy A54 is the star of the show and you can already order the mid-range phone.
The Korean tech giant is also launching the cheaper Galaxy A34 but it’s the A54 that is likely to be the most popular.

When will the Samsung Galaxy A54 go on sale?
Samsung announced the Galaxy A54 and A34 on 15 March and although no specific release date was given, the phones both went on sale on 17 March.
In the US, the official store says the phone will be shipping from 11 April.
How much does the Samsung Galaxy A54 cost?
There are two models of the A54 to choose from, depending on how much storage you want. Both come with 8GB of RAM.
- 128GB – $449/£449
- 256GB – £499
If those prices are too much (the Galaxy A53 was £50 less at launch in the UK) then perhaps the Galaxy A34 will suit your budget as it starts from £349.

Where can I buy the Samsung Galaxy A54 in the US?
Samsung US is now taking pre-orders for the Galaxy A54 which is only available in the 128GB model and either Graphite or Violet colours at the time of writing.
The official store has some good perks including the offer to purchase a pair of Galaxy Buds Live for $49.99 ($100 off) and optionally get up to $250 instant credit trade-in value. This includes the previous generation Galaxy A53.
You can also make use of payment plans and add Samsung Care+ if you wish but even if you don’t, there are the additional gifts of 3-months of Spotify Premium, 2-months of Adobe Lightroom and 6-months of SiriusXM totaling over $100.
Amazon has the A54 in four colours with prices starting at $415 at the time of writing.
Where can I buy the Samsung Galaxy A54 in the UK?
For most people in the UK, the official Samsung store is the best place to buy the Galaxy A54.
Not only do you get free next-day delivery (if you order before 7pm) but there are also other benefits such as trade-in – up to £260 for the A54 – as well as optional financing and Samsung Care+. You can also choose to get it on a monthly contract with Vodafone or O2 via the store.
Additionally, until 25 April, you can get a free pair of Galaxy Buds 2 wireless earbuds worth £139 although this deal isn’t exclusive to the Samsung store.
