OnePlus may have followed up the Nord 2 with the half-step Nord 2T, but it eventually followed that up with a full sequel: the Nord 3.
The highly-anticipated mid-ranger appears to be based on China’s OnePlus Ace 2V, and is out now in Europe and elsewhere in the world – though doesn’t seem to be launching in either the US or UK.
Here’s everything we know so far about the Nord 3 – or read our OnePlus Nord 3 review to find out what we think of the phone after testing it ourselves.
Where is the OnePlus Nord 3 available?
OnePlus launched the Nord 3 on 5 July 2023, a little over a year after it unveiled the Nord 2T. It’s out now across Europe and parts of Asia.
The Nord 3 will not be sold in the UK, as we have confirmed with OnePlus. This comes as a surprise, as the Nord, Nord 2, and Nord 2T were all sold in the UK.
It’s also unlikely to be sold in the US, though that’s less surprising – none of those models had launched there either.
How much does the OnePlus Nord 3 cost?
The Nord 3 starts from €499 for 8GB+128GB, rising to €549 for 16GB+256GB, a hefty hike from the previous €399 start price for the Nord 2 and Nord 2T.
That may be justified however, given that this is also the most powerful and premium Nord phone yet.
What features and specs are in the OnePlus Nord 3?
So what makes the Nord 3 worth that higher price?
Oneplus
Well, let’s start with the design, which includes glass on both the front and back of the phone – with Dragontrail Glass on the display and Gorilla Glass 5 on the rear, though both are similar protective materials.
The phone also has an IP54 rating for protection from dust and water, so it should be relatively durable.
It’s available in a matt black finish, or a glossy light green, and either way packs the trademark OnePlus alert slider.
There’s power below the surface too, most obviously in the flagship-level MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, which is joined by up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, making this one of the most powerful mid-rangers around.
A 6.74in 120Hz AMOLED display helps too, though it lacks the LTPO tech we’re beginning to see appear in phones at this price.
The 5000mAh battery is also large, which should mean good battery life, along with fairly fast 80W wired charging – though sadly there’s no wireless option.

As for cameras, the 50Mp main lens includes optical image stabilisation for stronger low light performance and smoother video. It’s joined by the simple combo of an 8Mp ultrawide and 2Mp macro, with a more impressive 16Mp selfie camera on the front.
Finally, it ships with Android 13 and OnePlus promises three Android version updates along with four years of security patches.
