Nothing has launched the Phone (2a) Special Edition, its first limited edition smartphone, and you might need to order one fast to secure yours.
As teased on social media yesterday, the Phone (2a) Special Edition arrives as the first Nothing device to feature all three primary colours in the design. It’s essentially the white colourway with highlights of yellow, blue and red. It’s called ‘Bauhaus’.
You’ll find these accents on the back of the device such as around the camera module.
The Special Edition is the same as the regular Phone (2a) from both a hardware and software perspective – including “industry-first ChatGPT integration when paired with any Nothing or CMF by Nothing audio product”, but will no doubt be popular with fans.
Devices aren’t individually numbered or anything but with this colourway available in a “limited quantity” and with the regular (2a) selling no less than 100,000 units in a matter of hours, it could well sell out fast.

The Nothing Phone (2a) Special Edition goes on sale today from the official store and you can also get it in-person starting 11am on 1 June if you head to the Nothing Store in Soho, London.
The other caveat is that the device will set you back £349/€379 as it’s only available in the 12/256GB model for RAM and storage, whereas the regular Phone (2a) starts at £319/€329 for 8/128GB.
“Its overall aesthetic references some of our design heroes from the past, whilst creating a new expression for a smartphone. Elevating a functional device into a striking piece of art.” said Adam Bates, Design Director at Nothing.
