It’s been an excellent year for phones but one stood out for me for various reasons, but mainly being the best camera phone I’ve ever used.
That handset is the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and it normally costs £1,299 but you can save a whopping 35%. However, you’ll need a discount code and get your order in before this limited time offer runs out on 13 December – here’s how it works.
Head to the official Mi store and choose whether you want the black or white model. Then click the ‘Get coupons’ link and select the ‘28% of Xiaomi 14 Series option’.
You’ll need to sign in or create an account if you haven’t already. Then hit ‘Buy Now’ and your basket will load with the discount plus an automatic ‘£30 off on £300’ coupon too.
In total you’ll save £357.32 off the already discounted price of £1,199, or 35% of the original RRP.

You can also use the same discount combination on the regular Xiaomi 14, another great phone, which starts at £849 but the deal gets you one for only £517.68 and there are plenty of other tempting deals in the Xiaomi Christmas sale with phones from £59.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has an epic set of four rear cameras co-developed with Leica and is optional Photography Kit turning it into a proper DSLR-style shooter. As you might imagine, it’s a pricey piece of tech but you can save big on it in this epic deal.
