Samsung has already launched lots of new products in 2024, but its biggest launch event of the year takes place today.
This year’s Galaxy Unpacked event is expected to reveal the next Flip and Fold devices, adding to Samsung’s portfolio of foldables.
If you can’t make it along to the launch in person, then we have good news: there’s a stream which is available for anyone to watch live, wherever you are in the world. Here are the key details.
When is the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event?
Samsung has confirmed that it will be holding a Galaxy Unpacked event today, Wednesday, 10 July 2024 in Paris, France.
It’ll begin at 3pm local time (CEST), which is 2pm BST, 9am EDT or 6am PDT.
But even before event starts, you can get £50/$50 off simply by signing up on the UK or US site. This doesn’t commit you to anything, and also enters you into a draw for a £1,000 Samsung voucher (UK) or $5,000 Samsung credit (US).
How to watch the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event live
The next Galaxy Unpacked event will be livestreamed around the world. It’ll be available via Samsung’s official YouTube channel, but we’ve embedded it below for easy access:
Alternatively, you will be able to watch it via the main Samsung website or Samsung Newsroom.
What will be announced at the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event?
In an official blog post announcing the event, Samsung says “the latest Galaxy Z series” and “entire Galaxy ecosystem” will be revealed.
That confirms that at least one foldable will be unveiled, but we’re highly likely to see both the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6.
The company is a big more vague when it comes to other announcements. However, an accidental leak in the Samsung Members app revealed four products on the way: Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Galaxy Ring.
None are confirmed to launch on 10 July, but it seems likely we’ll see them there. And rumours suggest the regular Galaxy Watch will be joined by a Watch 7 Pro.
As you might expect from any new tech products launched in 2024, all are expected to feature artificial intelligence, which is known on Samsung devices as ‘Galaxy AI’.
