Get £100 off the OnePlus 8T in excellent Black Friday discount

OnePlus only launched its latest flagship, the OnePlus 8T, in mid-October yet we’re already seeing an excellent £100 Black Friday discount on the handset from John Lewis, which drops the price to £449.

Even though OnePlus launched its own Black Friday sale last week, you won’t find this discount on its site. The £100 discount makes John Lewis’s price the cheapest around for the 8T right now (you can compare prices across major retailers below):

The 5G device offers 128GB internal storage, 8GB RAM, and premium features like a 120Hz refresh rate and 65W fast charging. The phone also runs on the latest version of Android (Android 11) – and under the hood, the 8T packs a powerful Snapdragon 865 processor.

If you prefer greater RAM and storage, the higher specced model with 256GB internal storage and 12GB RAM also has £100 off from John Lewis, which drops the price to £549. 

In his review, our Deputy Editor Dominic Preston gave the 8T 4.5/5 stars and a Tech Advisor Recommended badge, calling it an “incredibly competitive budget flagship”. Though the handset could have included better cameras – as it offers the same camera hardware found on the £379 Nord – there’s no denying that the additional £100 discount from John Lewis adds top bang for buck to an already value-packed phone.

John Lewis also has £150 off both the OnePlus 8 Pro 5G (128GB/8GB) and the OnePlus 8 Pro 5G (256GB/12GB RAM).
