The OnePlus 8 range launched 14 April 2020 and went on sale in the UK on 21 April, and in the US on 29 April. Given the speedy six-month intervals at which OnePlus releases its handsets, the 8 is now already a couple of generations old. The OnePlus 8T arrived last October and the OnePlus 9 is expected to arrive this spring.
The release cycle does mean, however, that OnePlus 8 prices are dropping significantly – great news if you’re upgrading or need an affordable, yet powerful phone.
So without further ado, here are the best OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro deals both SIM-free and on contract. We’re separately looking at the best OnePlus 8T deals here.
OnePlus 8 & 8 Pro SIM-free price
With OnePlus 9 on the horizon, OnePlus has dropped £150/$200 off the 8 range, which translates to even higher discounts when compared against the launch price. The OnePlus 8 Pro is now just £699!
Model | Launch Price | 2020 Price | Current Value |
OnePlus 8 8GB/128GB (Onyx Black UK; Glacial Green US) | £599/$699 | £549/$599 | £399 (out of stock at OnePlus) |
OnePlus 8 12GB/256GB (Glacial Green UK; Interstellar Glow US) | £699/$799 | £599/$699 | now £449 (out of stock at OnePlus) |
OnePlus 8 Pro 8GB/128GB (Onyx Black UK; Onyx Black/Glacial Green US) | £799/$899 | £799/$899 | £699/US$799 (in stock) |
OnePlus 8 Pro 12GB/256GB (Glacial Green UK; Onyx Black/Glacial Green/Ultramarine Blue US) | £899/$999 | $899 in the US | £799/US$799 |
Keep in mind, the new prices are an indication of how much the OnePlus 8 range phones are now worth, now that the 8T is available. Don’t pay full price for the older model.
The phones are available in Onyx Black and Glacial Green only in the UK, while the US gets the additional colours Interstellar Glow and Ultramarine Blue.
