Apple introduced its high-end premium smartwatch in the form of the Apple Watch Ultra in 2022 and followed it up with the Apple Watch Ultra 2 a year later.
They’re bigger (with a 49mm casing) and bolder than the regular Apple Watch, designed for extreme sports and enthusiasts. They are still two of the best smartwatches money can buy.
With a bigger and brighter screen, it’s easier to see and use in bright sunlight or under water. Built in cellular connectivity, it’s clear that the Ultra watches are built with the outdoors in mind.
There’s just one casing colour, Titanium, but as usual a range of straps are available including Alpine Loop, Trail Loop and Ocean Band.
