We were impressed with the diminutive but hugely powerful Asus Zenfone 9, and the Zenfone 10 continues the good run.
It’s a small, narrow phone by modern standards but managed to cram in a high-end chipset, headphone jack, and much more besides.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Asus Zenfone 10.
When will the Asus Zenfone 10 be released?
The Asus Zenfone 10 is available to pre-order now in the UK and Europe.
A US release is on the cards for Q3 with a release date yet to be announced.
How much will the Asus Zenfone 10 cost?
Here’s the UK and Europe pricing for the Zenfone 10:
- 8GB RAM/128GB storage: €799 (version not available in the UK)
- 8GB RAM/256GB storage: £749.99/€849
- 16GB RAM/512GB storage: £819.99/€929
US pricing is not yet confirmed but strongest clue is from an Asus website asking people to blind test the phone’s camera. As reported by Android Authority, the terms and conditions of the process, which enters people into a prize draw to win the phone itself, states “Each Prize is with an approximate retail value at USD 749.”
It’s therefore quite likely that the Zenfone 10 will cost $749 in the US.
Here’s how those prices compare to the base model from the previous generations.
- Asus Zenfone 9 – $699/£699
- Asus Zenfone 8 – $629/£599
- Asus Zenfone 7 – $749/£569

Here’s a further look at the headline specs and features:
Processor upgrade
The Zenfone 10 impressively runs the top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the same as the best Android phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, OnePlus 11, and Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
The base and middle models come with 8GB RAM but the top end version has 16GB. This is a very powerful device with specs normally reserved for humongous 6.8in Android phones – there’s no reason smaller phones like the Zenfone can’t do it too though, so bravo Asus.
Same display
- 5.92in 20.4:9 144Hz AMOLED display
It looks as though the Zenfone 10 has the same display, and display size at 5.9in, as the Zenfone 9. From the front, the screen looks identical with the same bezels around the edges, and top-left front facing camera cut-out.

Same camera
- 50Mp, f/1.9 Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS & gimbal-stabilisation
- 13Mp, f/2.2 ultrawide camera
- 32Mp, front-facing camera
The main 50Mp camera sensor is the Sony IMX766, the same one on, you guessed it, the Zenfone 9.

There’s also a 13Mp ultra-wide and an improved spec 32Mp front-facing camera. The phone can record video in 4K a up to 60fps.
Same battery
The Zenfone 10 has a 4,300mAh battery like its predecessor. The Zenfone 9 lasted a day’s use easily, so here’s hoping the Zenfone 10 continues that trend by being a pocket-friendly phone that doesn’t die by lunch time.
Tons of features
Also crammed into the Zenfone 10 is 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, and it’s Wi-Fi 7 ready. It also supports hi-res audio via the headphone jack and supports it wirelessly with the LDAC codec, in addition to aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and AAC formats.
That’s right, there’s a headphone jack still! Asus, you spoil us.
